a three year battle with cancer.
Clare was born in London, England and grew-up in Harpenden, England. She moved to
Jacksonville in 1988 and attended the Bolles School. Clare obtained an Interior
Decorating Degree and several years later, went back to College to earn an Education
Degree. She culminated her education with a STEM Fellowship at Notre Dame.
Clare had three passions: family, travelling, and teaching. She was a wonderful wife, mother, daughter and sister. She enjoyed traveling and would proudly share her family experiences and
accomplishments with others.
Teaching was her calling. Clare spent one year at Crystal Springs Elementary School
and she moved to Holy Family Catholic School in 2013, where she taught through 2021.
She loved her students and enjoyed hearing of her students’ accomplishments long
after she taught them.
Clare was preceded in death by her mother, Kaye Dymer. She is survived by her
husband Paul, children Catherine and Matthew, her father Donald Dymer, sister Anna
Sprouse (Peter), and eleven nieces and nephews.
