Clare and I worked together in fifth grade at Crystal Springs Elementary. She was always bubbly and a great teacher.
On a personal note, when we lost everything we had in a flood in 2017, Clare organized  with her church and got clothing and money donations for us. She was a wonderful and caring person.

i saw her a few weeks before she died. our class was walking to this music thingy at church and she said “i’ll see u guys soon in January miss you guys so much!” and then she died on christmas and i remember what she said and it broke my heart, my heart literally shredded into pieces. she was probably the best teacher i’ve ever had i think about her everyday i walk past her classroom and all the good memories we’ve had together. she was literally so nice and absolutely hilarious i loved her laugh. she was the strongest person ever. she’ll always have a special place in my heart. I was overcome by the outpouring of support for Clare, and the family, at her Memorial Service just two days ago.  I am stunned by the very kind and sincere comments from her friends, pupils, and their families.  Clare often shared stories from school with my wife and I, about how proud she was that she had been able to get all of her pupils advancing in their education, but especially how she had helped this girl, and this boy, to get past their road block and move on.  From experiences at Holy Family on the many Grandparents Days when we would visit with Catherine and Matthew, and the visit to her classroom, the comments made by some of the other old folk visiting, it was so obvious that outside the family this was her happy place.  I don’t think that until last Saturday that I fully understood just how much she was revered, respected and loved by anyone she came in contact with.  For that my darling Clare please forgive me.  I know you will do a great job in that school above.  Say hi to Mummy for me.  God Bless you baby girl.

Mrs. Giordano taught our daughter Maddie in the fifth and sixth grade. She was a great teacher and friend to the students; she truly enjoyed them and loved to laugh with them. But what is most striking to Maddie is that Mrs. Giordano showed more of her spiritual side to the class when she started receiving treatment, telling them joyfully to accept and trust in God’s plan for each of us.  We are forever grateful for the example of bravery and abundant faith she so clearly shared with her students. Mrs Giordano was an extraordinary human being and teacher. She taught my son James and Quinn at Holy Family Catholic School. She went above and beyond to connect with her students. We will miss her tremendously! 

Mrs. Giordano taught both our girls at Holy Family.  Her love for teaching was evident in all she did in the classroom.  She truly cared about her students and encouraged each of them to do well.  My daughters both loved her.  Our sincerest condolences to her family and Holy Family School! Our thoughts and prayers are with you.  The Zaiden family.

Clare was a special and gifted teacher. My daughter, Leighann, was really struggling in math in 5th grade and Mrs. Giordano helped at a pivotal time. Now, as a freshman she is in Honors Algebra. Thank you so much for sharing your gift of teaching and your big heart. In regular life, Clare was also kind and generous to me and to all my children; quick with a smile, a compliment and encouragement. We all miss you. God bless you forever!!

Clare was an amazing person. We worked together at Crystal  Springs Elementary .In the short time we worked together , our friendship grew and became strong. When we lost our home  from Hurricane  Irma  flooding, Clare contacted me with clothing and contributions from Homy Family Catholic Church,  She loved her family and  spoke of them  often.  My deepest, heartfelt condolences go out to her family.

Clare was a great woman and an exceptional teacher. We will forever be thankful for her love and guidance towards my daughters. God is enjoying her company now. As a family here in the UK we knew Clare when she was at Junior School in Harpenden along with her sister Anna. Our two children Simone and Stephen went to the same school and it was not long before  we got to know Don and Kaye Dymer and struck up a close friendship with the family. We have fond memories of our family gatherings together here in England.
It has meant so much to our family that when the Dymer household decided to make a new life  in Florida we kept in close contact and visited them for many years afterwards. 
Clare has always had a special place in our hearts and we have admired her determination to get on in life, especially in teaching. 
She has raised a wonderful and caring family which we have spent so many wonderful times with. 
We speak for all our family and those to this day who remember Clare in her early childhood that she was much loved and respected and will be sadly missed. A life taken so early but with the comfort of knowing she is at peace with her loving mother Kaye. 
Our thoughts and prayers are with you all and may god bless Clare and her family now and in the future.

Claire was such an incredible teacher, friend, Mother and wife! If we could think of one word to describe her it would be passionate-she gave her all to every endeavor she was a part of in life. I knew Clare from school in England and was lucky enough to see her at our school hockey team reunion when she was over in the uk 10 years ago!  One thing I remember about that night was that we all laughed a lot and I mean A-LOT!  Loved keeping in touch and up to date on Facebook too.

Clare was a wonderful, friend, wife, mother, teacher and so much more. She was such a treasure to be around, her infectious laugh and friendly smile lit up the room, she was always there to comfort and help all who met her. 
I met Clare at work as a Designer at Perdue Office Interiors when I was about 33 and Clare was in her 20’s, she was working in Flooring sales and Design at Perdue and we instantly became friends, as fellow Brits! We shared many moments as colleagues and also being mothers, I had just had Gabby about 5 years before she was expecting Catherine and Oliver my son was born one year before Catherine, so we all became fast friends with babies and young children sharing baby showers, children's birthday parties with other friends and mothers at Perdue and in the Design field. We often would escape from motherhood, sharing fun nights out and attending all the Design Events.  Clare was a wonderful Mother, Wife and friend and then we continued to see each other less but at least every few years, at various occasions and when she Designed her new home, we collaborated again. I then found out she had become a teacher and what a joy that was to her and all her students. She would be perfect in that role. I’m so shocked and saddened by her passing and again I hear she took all the illness in her stride, with her wonderful smile and patience. Clare you will be deeply missed and never forgotten. We love you and you will be forever in our hearts. My deepest condolences and God Bless her family, hoping all the wonderful memories will help you through this sad time. Love and prayers to you all. I saw Clare a few weeks before she passed away. She was so funny and nice. I was very close to her kids and I cherish the memories I had with her

Ms. Giordano taught me back in 5th grade. Ms. Giordano was the sweetest person there could be, with the biggest heart that had a special place for everyone of her students. Ms. Giordano made me the woman I am today because of everything she taught me, not only taught me things I use today in school but also made the effort to help me with my English speaking that I use today perfectly fine. That woman wasn’t only my teacher but treated me and her students as the mother she is. She always wanted her students to learn something new and to always be respectful to everyone around you. Ms. Giordano also was very friendly with my mother. In short words, once in a lifetime people get to meet an amazing teacher like you. You were like my mother, always guiding me through my difficult times and now you are gone but will always remain alive in my heart. ❤️ R.I.P. angel 🥺🕊

I knew Clare from the Trustey STEM Teaching Fellows program.   Clare was such an important member of her cohort, and I will always remember her infectious smile and laugh.  She always brought a unique perspective to our conversations around education, students, and mathematics.  She will certainly be missed, and I will keep her family and friends in my prayers.

Mrs. Giordano taught me when I was in 5th and 6th grade. Not only was she an amazing teacher, but she genuinely cared for each and everyone of her students. She was very nice and understanding and listened to everyone. Even when she was battling cancer, she stayed strong for the rest of us and she was so brave. My deepest condolences to her family and to anyone really close to her.

Mrs. Giordano always had the best books in her library. She had my favourite book to date and always helped me find books when i was in a reading stump. She was also a great math teacher. Anytime someone was confused she would make sure that we wouldn't move on until the whole class understood. She will be very missed by me and all her students.
