Cloys Roberson

ROBERSON - Cloys Roberson was born on April 23rd, 1931 in Winston County, MS; one of 12 children. At the age of 84, the Lord called him home to be with his wife Sandra on February 5th, 2016. Cloys passed away peacefully with his loving family surrounding him. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle and friend.

In his retirement he enjoyed cooking for his family and spending time with his family and friends. He was exceptionally proud of his exquisite and magical flower garden he tended to each year. His family will especially miss his infectious laugh, stale jokes, own vocabulary for things and most importantly his own original tune he always whistled.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Sandra; two brothers and one sister. He is survived by his 3 daughters, Robin Turner (Steve Rodgers), Nancy Palmer (Wade), Melissa Fooshee (Joseph); his 3 grandchildren, Shannon Schwandt, ( Nathan), Neal Palmer, Joseph Fooshee; great-grandchildren, Sophia and Peyton Schwandt and Briella and Alexis Fooshee.

Memorial services to be held for family and friends in Mid- August in Michigan. Details will be provided in the summer.
