Daniel K. Buie,

Daniel K. Buie, Sr. age 90 of Jacksonville passed away July 9, 2010. The Pulaski, Georgia native was a lifelong Jacksonville resident and was a retired Mail Handler with the US Postal Service. He was a member of Riverview Lodge #306 F &AM and was a veteran of WW II having served in the US Army and US Navy. Mr. Buie was a member of North Jacksonville Baptist Church. Survivors are a daughter, Patsy Minor; a step-daughter, Mary M. Rouse; a granddaughter, Teresa Cummings (Chuck); 1 Grandson, Randy Fries; a son, Daniel K. Buie, Jr.; a step-son, Earl Morton (Billie); a sister, Thelma Copeland ; 7 Grandchildren, James Minor, Tommy Minor, Vicki Williams, David Minor, Josh Fries, Jake Fries, Brock Fries and 8 Great Grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, July 13, 2010 at the Chapel of Corey-Kerlin Funeral Home, 1426 Rowe Avenue with Rev. Tim Rigdon officiating. Interment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Sunday, July 11, 2010 (TODAY) from 3 pm to 5 pm at the funeral home.
