
Daniel Cloyd Wright, 69, of Jacksonville, Fla. and formerly of Marietta, Ga., passed away on February 2, 2011 after an extended illness. He was born on April 21, 1941, in Florence, Ala. Dan was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend to all. He was preceded in death by his parents, Arvelyn and Nelda Wright. He is survived by his loving wife, Lynn Gamble Wright and daughter Leigh Wright of Jacksonville, Fla., son and daughter-in-love Scott and April Wright and granddaughter Ava Trinity Wright of Powder Springs, Ga., brother William Kirk Wright of Lebanon, Tenn. and multiple nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life service will be held today, February 5 at 11 a.m. at First United Methodist of Jacksonville, located at 225 E. Duval Street. Officiating pastors will be Ed O’Rourke and Dave Moenning. The family will receive visitors one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will follow at the National Cemetery in Canton, GA on Monday, February 7 at 1:30 pm.
