David Scott Baird, 60, passed away on January 4, 2013. Born in Indiana, PA to David Roy and Thelma Thomas Baird, he was a loving and devoted father, grandfather, brother, uncle, co-worker and friend. Dave was an Account Manager for 3M’s Automotive Aftermarket Division for 30 years. A member of The Champions Club at Julington Creek, he was an avid golfer and swimmer. He enjoyed playing the guitar and spending time with his family.
Preceded in death by his mother, Thelma, Dave is survived by his father, David Roy Baird; daughter, Courtney Baird and her fiancé, Chris Kenny, his granddaughter, Brylee Kenny; his sister, Jan Baird Medlin; niece, Kelly Clewley (Josh); along with many other family members and friends.
A Celebration of Dave’s Life will be held 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 8, 2013 in Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home of Mandarin.
