David Earl Aguilar

AGUILAR - David Earl Aguilar, age 65, passed away on August 20, 2015. He was born December 15, 1949, in Jacksonville, Florida. He attended Bishop Kenny High School and graduated with the class of 1968. He enlisted in the U. S. Marine Corps upon graduation and served three tours of duty in Vietnam with the 1st Marine Division, Company D, where he was awarded the Bronze Star Medal for Valor, the Purple Heart Medal, and the Meritorious Unit Commendation Ribbon. Upon his return to the states, David enlisted and served in the U.S. Coast Guard. David is survived by his son, David C. Aguilar; his mother, Beatrice Aguilar, brother Arthur W. Aguilar and sisters Linda Aguilar Chambless and Dell Aguilar Lee; two grandchildren Derrick and Aryanna Aguilar, three nephews – Chris Chambless, Brett Hale, Robert Lee and one niece, Lena Chambless. David also has one great nephew, Brett Hale, Jr. and one great niece, Beatrice Chambless. A private ceremony will be held graveside at the Jacksonville National Cemetery.
