He is survived by his loving wife Jean Albright, three children Jonathan, Elizabeth and Victoria, daughter-in-law Amanda Hix-Albright, grandson David Leopold Albright-Papirtis, father Lonnie, and brother Dennis. He is predeceased by his mother Virginia Albright and grandparents Mike and Ermal Cremeans.
Born in Huntington, West Virginia he received several degrees from Shawnee State University and Marshall University including Electrical Engineering, Industrial Management, and Instrumentation Technology. After over 25 years working for CSX, he went on to work for a number of contracting firms until retiring in 2018.
A pioneering spirit who approached life and the world around him with a curious and inquisitive nature, David was a dedicated father and husband; a man who prioritized the safety of others in both his home and his work. His compassion and wit will be dearly missed.
Services will be held at Hardage-Giddens Oaklawn Chapel, 4801 San Jose Blvd. Jacksonville, FL, 32207 on Friday, December 27th at 2:00pm.
