Nate loved fishing, cooking on the grill, creating art, writing poetry and hanging out with friends and family. Nate’s professional career was welding and painting, always making new friends along the way. He never met a stranger and seldom went places he didn’t run into a past friend exchanging jokes. He was a born entertainer and storyteller. His character shines through in his two sons, leaving the greatest gifts of all for his loved ones to enjoy.
He is survived by his father, David Leija, Mother, Phoebe Leija, Brothers, Richard and Jonathan, Sister, Rachel Cazarez, two sons, Donevyn and Ethan Leija, as well as aunts, uncles, and cousins around the US and Mexico.
