Great neighbors are are good to have, and sadder to lose. David was especially generous during times of difficulties, such as hurricanes, sharing refrigerator space, tools, and time. We were eternally grateful for the pot of hot coffee left on the doorstep, in return for water from our pool each morning, during the 2-week long power outage during the Bonnie-Charlie-Dennis hurricane season. Thank you, Dave. You will be missed.

I have known Dave and Vonnie for over 54 years. When I hired on with western electric co., he and I and Paul Goolsby used to carpool together. My wife, Ann and I visited with them manty times and we loved that Red Mercury Comet that he drove. Our hearts are saddened to hear about his passing and we had visits each year at the Western electric, Lucent retiree luncheons.
We pray that your family will be comforted and know that he is in Heaven with his beloved wife. May the Lord Bless each of you.

Dear Angie,

It’s been such a long time since I’ve seen you. I know I never even met your dad, but I strongly remember that you loved him and respected him SO MUCH. You always used to tell me about how much he cared about you and protected you along the way of life. I remember you telling me about his amazing sense of humor and that he was the ‘light of the party’ and how everyone loved him! My heart goes out to you and the rest of your family during this difficult time. ❤️

Love,
Theresa

You will be in my prayers my sweet friend! I’m sending boatloads of love to you dear one and all of your family.

How do we say our final goodbyes to our beloved David M. . He and Patricia (my sister) shared so many good times with us over the last 12 years. Almost every time we saw Dave, Patricia was with him -- either coming or going to his house, Walker's Point and other trips we made together.

Dave M. and Patricia loved to cook and served many delicious meals to us, our neighbors, his neighbors and others. He also enjoyed many holidays with our family. My husband, David T., Patricia, Dave M. and I loved to play cards, sometimes twice a week. He loved the game, fellowship and laughs --- he also loved to WIN! He shared so many memories of his wonderful family to us.

He was one of the most caring, happy, helpful, Christian man God could send to all of us-----there are no real words to tell how much he will be missed. Our lives and neighborhoods will never be the same.

Much sympathy and love to Patricia and his wonderful family.

Everybody loved Dave and Dave loved everyone. Dave loved Patricia, I do believe they were joined at the hip. Dave and Patricia were very very lucky to have found each other. I remember the wonderful card parties and the New Years Eve parties we had over at the river house, the oysters on the grill were heavenly. Dave's family would come to those get togethers and his family is a wonderful as Dave. Dave would be proud. We will all miss Dave. Thoughts, prayers to Dave's family and to Patricia.

He was one of the most sweetest and thoughtful as well as caring person one will ever know. He could always tell a funny joke and lend a helping hand to his fellow man. He will be missed now by so many of us left behind, that his family doesn't even know about. There is so much love in so many hearts and he will be missed so deeply by all of us here at WALKER'S POINT as well as his WEEK-22 family. His love for all of us was a gift that we will treasure more with each passing day and I thank God for bringing him into our lives. We will always love you. Love Always, Patricia

I am thinking of you both and am so sorry for your loss. Uncle Randy was always such a kind, caring, loving, and hilarious man. He will be truly missed. I can see him with Vonnie, Charles, Rosann, Eddie and his little dog - I don't know - fishing and being silly and crazy. God bless all of you ................. alison

From the first day my husband and I met Dave we knew then he was a good man genuine and kind hearted. I told my mother-in-law Patricia his fiancé we have got to keep him and she said we sure do and she sure did.
