David "Jack" Moore

David “Jack” Jackson Moore, age 86, of Jacksonville, Florida went home to be with his Lord on June 6, 2017. He is a beloved Husband, Father, PawPaw and Friend. Jack was an active member of The Masonic Lodge for over 50 years, the Dad Advisor for the DeMolay Boys, Arlington Chapter in Jacksonville, an Eastern Star Member, a Shriner, and a Navy veteran. Jack was well respected in his community and loved by all who knew him. He is preceded in death by his parents, Mary Hemby Moore and William Claude Moore, of Union County, North Carolina; his brother, Harold Moore; and sister, Carolyn Moore Sinclair. Jack is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Nancy Helms Moore; daughter, Patricia (Jim) Mayo; grandson, Chris (Sara) Mayo and great-grandchildren, Savannah McCann, Wyatt McCann, and Jackson Mayo; granddaughter, Cheri Vaughn; great-grandchildren, Dallas Vaughn and Erica Vaughn; and great-great-grandson, Colton Vaughn.
