David Joseph Wieschorster
November 21, 1934 – April 16, 2021
David Joseph Wieschorster, born to George and Rose Wieschorster on November 21, 1934, and passed away on April 16, 2021.
David was a proud alum of Covington Catholic High School receiving the Golden Colonel’s award 1952-2002. Following that, he graduated from Xavier College in Cincinnati and trained at University of Detroit becoming a certified Architect.
During his career he designed several churches and train stations working for CSX railroad. He retired from there after several decades. His love of architecture was life-long and as a devotee of Frank Lloyd Wright he continued to follow the profession.
He is survived by his son Matthew, daughter-in-law Suzanne grandchildren Benjaman, Jackson, and Annaliese also by daughter Anna Therese Taylor, predeceased by his brother George, widowed by his wife of 61 years Roberta.
The Funeral Mass will be held on May 7, 2021 at 2:00 pm in St. Joseph’s Main Church, 11757 Old St. Augustine Rd. Jacksonville, FL 32258, followed by interment at St Mary’s Cemetery in Fort Mitchell, KY.
