

Dayton Paul Zuccaro, of Mandarin, Florida, passed away Thursday, April 25, 2019. He was born in Brevard County, Florida on January 11, 1954. He graduated from Enterprise High School, and went on to have a career as a Truck Driver and later as a Security Officer. Dayton was married to Jacquelyn “Ollie” Zuccaro.
Dayton enjoyed participating in competitive shooting, and he was a member of First Coast IDPA. He also loved to go motorcycling. More than anything else, Dayton loved to spend time with his grandchildren and his family, and he had a lot of fun in his role as Youth Umpire for his grandkids baseball team. Dayton is very dearly loved by his family and his friends, and he will be greatly missed.
Dayton was preceded in death by his daughter, Alana Michelle Zuccaro. Dayton is survived by his wife, Jacquelyn ”Ollie” Zuccaro, his daughter, Annie Widdows (Jeff), his grandchildren, Laken Masters (Brett), Jarrod Widdows, Tanner Widdows, Raven Hill (Jay), and Blake Daniels, and his great-grandchildren, Karson, Korben, Edyson, Emelia, and Jax. He was also survived by his mother, Myrtle Bartmess, his 4 sisters, Martha Anne Knight, Mary Zuccaro, Virginia Zuccaro Waters, and Elizabeth Bell, and his 3 brothers, Joseph Zuccaro, Johnny Zuccaro, and Richard Zuccaro.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at 11:00am, Tuesday, April 30, 2019, with a Gathering of Friends and Family at 10:00am, at Hardage-Giddens Mandarin Chapel, 11801 San Jose Boulevard, Jacksonville, FL 32223.
