Dean was a fantastic guy. I was so proud to have known him in our younger years, back at Terry Parker and the times of the Wildflowers. Dean was extremely artistic, caring, smart and most talented playing bass for the band. I remember him riding his bicycle over on Friday nights to watch the Monkees with my little sister Sara and I. Times were so simple then. Dean loved the beach and the breathtaking ocean sunrises, where the sunlight danced across the waves we believed we were with God and all his beauty. We went our separate ways in 1970. I held him in my heart as you often do with your first real love. He went on to be a husband, father and grandfather to his beautiful families.
Fly free sweet Dean, keep watching those beautiful ocean sunrises, free of pain.

So sorry to hear about the loss of a childhood friend.
Dean and I were neighbors on Fort Caroline road, where we spent countless Summers exploring Mill cove, building forts, and leading an enchanted time .
Dean was always up for one more. Didn't matter what it was it was always we could do it one more time.
Peace to you the family
