Debora Goodwin Huston, 66, passed away January 8, 2016 in Jacksonville, FL. She was born in Portsmouth, VA, and later moved to Tampa, FL. Debora spent her entire career in the construction industry and was one of the very few female certified general contractors. She was meticulously organized and had a tremendous sense of humor. She was well loved by all that knew her and life was never boring when she was around. She is preceded in death by her parents, June W. Callahan and Harry Benton Goodwin. She is survived by her fiancée, Captain Mike Frye; sons, Michael Wade Miller (Faye), and Lahn Benton Bryant; daughter, Amanda Miller Bouthillet; brother Gregory Benton Goodwin of Texas; sister, Cindee Goodwin Becker of Palm Harbor, FL; and grandchildren, Josh, Austin, Kiley, and Ashley. A memorial service will be held at 1:00pm on Friday, January 15 at Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home of Mandarin with her twin sister, Cindee Becker officiatating.
