LANE - Dennis Lane (Denny), 61, passed away on Saturday, August 4th, 2012. He was born in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Jim and Frances Lane. Dennis graduated from University of Kentucky before moving to Jacksonville, Florida. He worked as an architect for Saxelbye for over 30 years, and was a Member of The Building Codes Adjustment Board for the city of Jacksonville. Dennis was a loving father, husband and brother. He devoted his life to raising his children and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. Dennis is survived by his wife, Glenda Lane, his three children, Dare Evans (Jonathan), Ryan Lane (Jessica), and Brit Lane (Daniel Howard), two grandchildren, Avery and Ryder Evans, a brother and three sisters: Jim Lane, Judy Wright, Sue Smith, and Karen Scott. Visitation will be held from 6-7pm on Wednesday, August 7th followed by the funeral on Thursday, August 8th at 11am. These services will be held at Corey-Kerlin Funeral Home 940 Cesery Blvd.
