

Dennis was born on September 15, 1970 in Jacksonville FL. He passed away unexpectedly on Feb 14, 2025. Dennis was a real people person; even as a young child he never met a stranger. He developed a passion for sports at a young age, loved all animals, and became a car enthusiast as an adult.
As a high school student, Dennis was selected for Who’s Who Among American High School Students and the People-to-People International Ambassador Program.
Dennis graduated from Florida A&M University (FAMU) in 1993, with a B.S. in Criminal Justice and Psychology. He began his career right after college at FAMU, in the Special Operations and Criminal Investigation Division (CID). He then pursued advanced studies at Florida State University. After several years, he moved back home and worked for the Department of Juvenile Justice, Law Enforcement Fugitive Unit. Dennis was also employed as an Operations/Management Review Specialist for the State of Florida. With a desire to do more, he relocated to Orlando, FL for a position with the Office of the Inspector General for State of Florida - FDC.
He retired from the IG office as a Criminal Investigation Division Supervisor in 2021, to be closer to his devoted mother after his father passed. Dennis was always active and didn't like sitting around; he accepted a position at the University of North Florida in Compliance and Risk Management for Recreation and Athletics.
Dennis was predeceased in death by his devoted father, Dennis C. McIntosh, Sr. He is survived by his loving mother, Deborah McIntosh, aunts, uncles, and many cousins and special friends. Dennis was a special son, a genuine person with great integrity. All of his friends can tell you that he was beloved by those who knew him.
