Dexter attended Kirby Smith Jr High School and graduated from Andrew Jackson High School. Most of his life he worked as an auto parts manager for various local Chrysler/Dodge dealerships. He was a Mopar guy and a Florida Gator fan.
Survivors are his wife of 35 years, Luan Wilcox Wilson; Daughters Nicole Wilson Simmons, Heather Wilson Mark (Scott); Four grandchildren, and his precious dog Candi.
We will miss his quick wit and gentle spirit. May we all live up to his mantra, Be Kind .
A committal service for Dexter will be held Friday, October 14, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Oaklawn Cemetery, 4801 San Jose Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32207.
