Donald Kaye Borstein

DON BORSTEIN, Born December 6th, 1948 passed away peacefully on September 9th, 2026 with both his brothers Chip and Jimmy by his side. After many years of dealing with pain and ongoing health issues he is now at peace and is in full comfort.

Everyone that truly new Don understood that he was his own man with strong beliefs and always stood by friends and family alike. If he trusted and new you he would always be with you. He helped out all he knew when there was a need. It was truly what made him happy and fulfilled. He supported all those in his circle and would be there if and when the need arose. He will be missed by all that were fortunate enough to be part of his life.

Don was born and raised in Charelstown, W. Va. by his parents David and Evelyn Borstein along with older brother Charles (Chip) and younger brother James (Jimmy) wife Christie. He shared many years with the true love of his life Yetta, who unfortunately passed away from the same dreaded disease 13 years ago. His immediate family includes his niece Tiffany Stevens and grand niece Aiyana with her daughter Kita, Nephews Aaron (Maureen) and Drew ( Jennifer) along with grand nieces Kaelyn and Brooke and grand nephews Leo, Noah and Nick.

He will be laid to rest at the New Center Cemetery Jacksonville Florida Friday September 11th at 10:30 AM beside his parents as he wished. He will be truly missed by all that new him and were lucky enough to be part of his life.
