

After a courageous battle with cancer, Doris went home to be with Jesus on Oct. 7, 2011 at her home in Jacksonville, Fl. She was born on 1/17/46 in Arcadia, Fl. where she grew up and graduated from High School in 1964. She moved to Jacksonville, Fl. in 1965. She met her husband, Bob Ingram who was stationed at Jacksonville Naval Air Station. They were married 12/30/67. After 35 years, she retired from State Farm Insurance as a Property and Casualty Underwriter. Doris was an active member of Riverside Primitive Baptist Church. She loved serving the Lord, her church family, her family and many friends. She also enjoyed traveling to Medal of Honor events with her husband, Bob, who is a Medal of Honor Recipient.
She is survived by her husband, Bob Ingram, daughter, Dana Ingram, son, Robert Craig (Debbie) Ingram, grandson, Robert Owen Ingram of Jacksonville, Fl. and brother James (Andrea) Mickler of Lakeland, Fl.
A visitation will be held at Hardage-Giddens Funeral home, 4115 Hendricks Ave., Jacksonville, Florida, 32207 on Mon. Oct. 10, 2011 - 6-8 PM.
A Celebration of her life will be held at Riverside Primitive Baptist Church, 702 Dellwood Ave., Jacksonville, Fl. 32204 on Tues. Oct. 11, 2011 at 11 AM.
Burial will follow at Jacksonville National Cemetery
