

Dorothea Kloeppel Armstrong, 91, of Jacksonville, passed away January 31, 2011. Born in Jacksonville to the late Arthur and Rosa Heins Kloeppel, Dorothea was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.
Preceded in death by her husband, Stephen Edgar Armstrong, she is survived by her sons, Steve (Nadine), Chris (Pam) and Pete; brother, Arthur Kloeppel (Sue); grandchildren, Stephen, Chris, Daniel and Lisa; sisters-in-law, Dee Kloeppel and Myra Armstrong; beloved family friend, Claire Zaiser; and several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Armstrong was an active member of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church and loved spending time with her family.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, February 3, 2011 at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church with Pastor Thomas Hanson and Pastor David Charlton officiating. Family will receive friends from 10-11 AM at the Church prior to the service. Burial in Evergreen Cemetery (Gate 5) will follow.
The family would like to thank Community Hospice of NE FL (Melissa Vidoli, RN) and Mrs. Armstrong’s caregivers, Pat, Tamara, Teresa and LuAnne, for their loving care.
