Dorothy A. “Dorothy Mae” Davies, 92, of Jacksonville, FL passed away at her residence on March 8, 2020. She was born in Jacksonville on February 28, 1928 to parents Henry and Ellen (Ponteau) Arnold. Mrs. Davies was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who enjoyed fishing and could make a mouth-watering fruit cake. She was predeceased by her husband, Charles Davies and sons, Jimmie Davies and Johnny Davies. She is survived by her son, Richard Davies; 6 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, March 12, 2020 at Restlawn Memorial Park, 2600 Ribault Scenic Dr, Jacksonville, FL 32208.
