Dorothy Carr Grace

GRACE- Dorothy Carr Grace has run the good race and now is resting from her labors with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Dorothy passed away on March 27th 2008 at the Magnolia Manor Nursing Home on Saint Simons Island, Georgia. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Wilson Grace, a sister, Julia Carr Daniels, and a brother, Robert H. Carr Sr. Dorothy worked as a communications advisor for Bell South for 40 years and as a receptionist for the PGA Tour in Ponte Vedra Beach for 20 years. She loved helping people, and was always telling those stories about meeting many professional golfers. She was so proud to be part of the PGA family. She spent a lot of time driving her Buick, picking up her friends, eating out, and then playing a lot of bingo. Dorothy is survived by a step son, Danny Grace(Pam) Darien Georgia; a step daughter, Nancy Grace Hogsett (Danny)Arlington, Texas; and a nephew, Robert H. Carr Jr. She also has several grand children, nephews and nieces.A memorial service will be held at the Corey-Kerlin Funeral Home, 940 Cesery Blvd. in Jacksonville 11:00a.m. Monday March 31st. Visitation will be at 10:00 a.m until service time. Entombment will be at the Arlington Park Cemetery.
