Dorothy Mildred "Dot" Keene

KEENE, Dorothy Mildred “Dot” Keene, 91, went to be with her Lord on Tuesday, July 3, 2018. Mrs. Keene was a long time member of Rolling Hills Baptist Church, where she taught for many years in the Children’s Sunday School Department and also loved singing in the choir. She is predeceased by her parents, Emory D. Lord and Mildred H. Everett; and her brother, Donald Lord. Survivors include her husband of 71 years, Joseph Reginald Keene; 3 daughters, Faye Lee (Jim), Sharon Rosian (Ted) and Barbara Martinez; 6 grandchildren: Kimberli Brinegar (Wes), Julie Wilkerson (Travis), Brian Malone (Jennifer), Scott Rosian, Phillip Rosian (Wendy) and Carissa Vannoy (Justin); 12 great grandchildren: Branden, Kalin, Nathan (Samantha), Sophia, Molly, Frankie, Brady, Orin, Garrett, Jacob, Jared and Jordan; 2 great great grandchildren, Jesse & Halle; and many other loving family and friends. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 am Tuesday, July 10, at Jacksonville National Cemetery (Lane #3), 4083 Lannie Road, Jacksonville, FL 32218. A Celebration of Life gathering will be held between 11 AM – 1 PM Saturday, August 18 in the fellowship hall of Rolling Hills Baptist Church, 840 Permento Ave., Jacksonville, FL 32221.
