

At age 104 she lived a full life. She is loved and missed by her family, daughter, Judy Land Parker; caregiver, Jenny Paul of Miami; grandchildren, Jessica Parker Avery, Richard Parker Jr (April), Russell Parker (Pam), Robert Parker, Billie Pocock, Diane MaloJevera; 9 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren; and cousins in Wichita, Lisa Land, Russell Land (Geneva), and Janie Myers (Mark). She is also missed by the "Girls" in Miami and her favorite restaurant, Captain's Tavern.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Robert “Bob” Land; son, Bobby Land; and daughter, Alaina Land Pocock.
She worked many jobs, but her most rewarding was when she worked during WW II in California making bombs and grenades for the US government, as well as working at the supply depot at Mare Island, CA.
She was a long-standing member of the Daughters of the Nile, a member of the Wives of SubVets, and a founding member, deacon and Elder of Riverside Christian Church in Wichita, KS. She also attended St. Thomas Episcopal Church in Miami FL, and currently attended the Church of Our Savior, here in Mandrin FL, which she loved.

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held on April 11, 2026, at 1330 Wentworth Ave. St Johns, FL 32259 from 3pm to 5 pm. Also, a Memorial Service will be held Riverside Christian Church, in Wichita, KS, at a later date.
