He was born on September 11, 1945 in Mansfield, Ohio to Irvin and Amy Brissell.
He has been a resident of Jacksonville since 1970 moving from port Clinton, Ohio.
Prior to retirement he a was Warehouse Manager for Relia Tex in Jacksonville, FL for many years.
Mr. Brissell had served his country in the United States Air Force in Vietnam.
He attended the United States Air Force Academy.
He was predeceased by his wife Martha Jo Brissell.
He is survived by four sons, Jay Brissell (Dianna) of Jacksonville, Ray Eernisse (Amy) of St Louis, MO, Ronald Eernisse (Kerry) of St Louis, MO and Donald Eernisse (Melanie) of Odum, GA, one daughter Susan Caudel (Mike) of Jacksonville, FL. And one sister Marian Hamaker (Larry) of Pentwater, MI.
18 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren
