Edna K. Slick

SLICK-Edna K. Slick, 87, died February 4 at her home in Lake Como, Florida after a long battle with Parkinson’s Disease. She was born in Palo Alto, California on January 10, 1921, the Daughter of the late William and Edna G. (Knowles) Allen. Her Husband of 59 years, Harold H. Slick, died in 1999. She was also preceded in death by her two Sisters, Elizabeth (Allen) Greene and Louise (Allen) Woodward. She is survived by a Daughter, Carol S. Tyre Henry; a Son and Daughter-in-Law, Clyde and Marsha Slick; 7 Grandchildren, Cheri (Tyre) Roberts, Jennifer (Slick) Corsano, Troy Tyre, Randy Tyre, Rebecca (Slick) Hunter, Cory Tyre, Amanda (Slick) Wilkinson and 12 Great Grandchildren. A graveside service will be held at Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, VA where she will be laid to rest beside her husband. She was a loving and devoted Wife and the most phenomenal Mother and Grandmother. This beautiful and gentle woman will be missed by all who knew her.
