Eleanor S. Sparky Sadler, 87, passed away on January 20, 2014 at Hadlow Center for Caring. Born on January 25 1926 in Ocala Florida, she moved to Jacksonville in 1935. She was employed by Diana Shops/ Boluns for 40 years as a bookkeeper. Eleanor was a member of Florida Tackle and Gun Club, and was an avid Gator Fan. She is survived by her husband Gil D. Sadler, son Michael Sadler, daughter Nell Taylor and daughter in law Cindy Sadler, sister Jimmie Ann Kirk, 6 grandchildren Eric Taylor (Amanda), Andy Taylor (Selena), Toby Taylor (Angie), Jeff Taylor, Ryan Sadler (Rachel) and Logan Sadler and 15 great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Community Hospice of Northeast Florida or Wounded Warrior Project. A celebration of her life will be held on Wednesday, January 22, 2014 at 4:00 PM at Florida Tackle and Gun Club.
