Betty was preceded in death by her father, Nemer Elian, her mother, Maizie Joseph Elian, and
her brother Nemer Elian Jr. She is now reunited with them, finding eternal peace and comfort in
their embrace.
Betty’s life was a testament to kindness, resilience, and love. She grew up with a deep
appreciation for family values and carried these principles throughout her life. Her generosity
and compassion were evident in the numerous ways she supported her community and those
around her.
Betty possessed a love of literature and a keen interest in cultural heritage. Her creativity and
intellectual curiosity inspired many, and she was always eager to share her knowledge and
experiences with others.
Betty’s legacy is one of warmth and wisdom. She leaves behind a network of friends and
extended family who will forever cherish her memory.
Visitation is Saturday, August 10 from 9 am-10 am followed by a funeral mass at 10:30 am at St.
Paul’s Riverside Catholic Church. Interment will immediately follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
Reception after interment will be at St. Paul’s Riverside Catholic parish hall.
