Elizabeth Jayne Stock

Elizabeth Jayne Stock, 85, passed on May 19, 2014 surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Milliken, CO to the late Wallis William and Mary Agnes Sheehan Nicholls. She was of the Catholic faith. Prior to her marriage, she had attended UCLA and was employed by Eastern Airlines as a Stewardess. Preceded in death by her son, Peter D. Stock II, she is survived by her beloved husband of 60 years, Captain Peter D. Stock; daughters, Anne Hill (Sam) and Mary Jeffcoat; grandchildren, Sara Stock, Benjamin Stock, Jeffrey Stock, Christopher Eastman, and Marissa Hill; along with other family members and friends. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 27th in Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home of Mandarin. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 28th in St. Joseph’s Historic Church, 4214 Loretto Rd., Jacksonville, FL, followed by interment at 2:00 p.m. in Jacksonville National Cemetery.
