

Elma was a loving wife and wonderful mother to her two daughters. She was a lifelong member of Arlington Baptist Church and served in various capacities. Elma’s strong Christian faith was visible to many through her life and love for her family and her God.
Elma is preceded in death by her loving husband of 67 years, George W. Ervin. Her parents, Arthur and Callie Johnson, her brother, Buddy Johnson, her sister Velma Crawford, two grandchildren, Patrick Myatt and Callie Pharis. Survivors include, daughter Teresa Campbell and husband John of Jacksonville, Florida, daughter Cindy Pharis and husband Pete of Bronson, Florida. Survivors also include granddaughter Robyn Jackson and husband Eli of Temple Texas, granddaughter Renee Pharis of Clearwater, Florida and three great grandchildren, Sarah, Judah and Abigail Jackson.
Services for Elma will be held on Wednesday, September 25th, 2:30 P.M. at Corey-Kerlin Funeral Home located at 940 Cesery Boulevard, Jacksonville, Florida with Rev. Fred Norman and Rev. Pete Pharis officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service at 1:30. Burial will be at Riverside Memorial Park located at 7242 Normandy Boulevard, Jacksonville, Florida immediately following the service.
In lieu of flowers the family is requesting that donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
