ALLEN - Emma Lou Allen, 79, passed away Tuesday, June 18, 2013. She was a native of Lake City, FL and had retired as an inspector for the Bacardi Company. Mrs. Allen was a member of Dinsmore Baptist Church where her funeral service will be held Saturday, June 22, 2013 at 11:00 AM with Dr. Winson Butler officiating. Interment will follow at Verdie Cemetery near Bryceville. Her surviving family includes: her husband of 50 years, Roger L. Allen; 2 daughters, Donna (Dwayne) Crews and Debbie (Steve) Bryant; a son, David (Sally) Cannon; 6 grandchildren, Rebecca, Lesley, Lourie, Steven, David, Josh and 2 great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made, in her memory, to the Building Fund of Dinsmore Baptist Church, 10500 Old Kings Road, Jacksonville 32219.
