Eric Charles Owens, 34, passed away Thursday, July 25, 2019. Born and raised in Jacksonville, Eric graduated from First Coast High School. Eric worked at Winn Dixie for several years, and then became an airline flight attendant at Continental Airlines. Eric enjoyed traveling with family and friends, and creating memories with those he loved. He was predeceased by his mother, Melody Owens and his brother, Chris Owens. Survivors include his father, Ernie Owens; his grandmother, Marie Ogden; and many other loving family and friends. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, July 31, in the chapel of Corey-Kerlin Funeral Home, 1426 Rowe Ave., with Pastor David Malmberg officiating. The family will receive friends one (1) hour prior to the service, at the funeral home.
