Ernie worked as a plant manager at Mercury Luggage for 55 years. He was an avid golfer and a huge Gator fan.
He is preceded in death by his two stepsons: Terry Wright and Michael Wright. He is survived by his wife, Betty Locke; three children: T. Lynn Locke (David Richardson), George Locke III and Tim Locke (Eric Carson); nine grandchildren: Jessica, Sabrina, Amanda, Terry Michael, Jesse, Bubba, Krystal, George IV and Hunter; and twelve great grandchildren, plus one on the way.
The family will be receiving visitors from 5pm – 7pm on Wednesday, June 16, 2021, Legacy Lodge Event Center in Oaklawn Cemetery, located at 4801 San Jose Blvd. A graveside service will be held at 11am on Thursday, June 17, 2021, at Greenlawn Cemetery, located at 4300 Beach Blvd.
