Ernestine Clark NesSmith

Ernestine Clark NesSmith, 75, passed away on August 31, 2012. Born in Gallia County, OH to the late Dewey and Maxie Lowder, she was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend.

Ernestine was a member of the Episcopal Church of Our Saviour and loved spending time with her family.

She is survived by her husband, Thomas E. NesSmith; daughter, Debbie Clark Popescu (Alin); brother, Elva Lowder (Helen); stepson, Thomas Edward NesSmith, Jr. (Mary Allison); stepdaughter, Katherine Elaine NesSmith; grandchildren, Ashley Bowden, Shira and Moriah NesSmith, Candace Wegrzynek (Vinny); one great granddaughter; along with many family members and friends.

Visitation will be held from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 4th in Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home of Mandarin. The Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 5th in Episcopal Church of Our Saviour, 12236 Mandarin Rd., Jacksonville with The Rev. Dr. John Palarine as Celebrant, followed by interment in Mandarin Cemetery.
