Estelle Carter Davis

She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Charles Wilson, her parents, Milton and Ferrell Carter, sisters Maxine (Madison) and Eunice Carter, brothers Everett (Doris), Freddie, H.M., Grady (JoAnn), Eddie, brother-in-law Buddy and numerous nieces.

Estelle is survived by her two daughters, Delaine (John) Hughes and Phyllis Davis, granddaughter, Brittany (Thomas) Cavanaugh, greatgrandchildren, Ayden and Lyna Cavanaugh, sisters, Catherine Tanner, Juanita (Larry) Steese, Geraldine (Benny) Spradley, sister-in-law Libby Carter, and many nieces and nephews.

She was a bookkeeper at Southside Hardware for many years and faithfully attended Lineage Church (formerly Southside Assembly of God). She loved the Lord and her family.

A visitation for Estelle will be held Wednesday, October 11, 2023 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at The Legacy Lodge, 4801 San Jose Boulevard, Jacksonville, FL 32207. A funeral service will occur Thursday, October 12, 2023 at 11:30 AM, 4801 San Jose Boulevard, Jacksonville, FL 32207. A committal service will occur Thursday, October 12, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Jacksonville National Cemetery, 4083 Lannie Rd, Jacksonville, FL 32218.
