Eva was my PE teacher at Englewood in the late 60's.  A few years later I had the pleasure of teaching health along side her at Southside.  We had some great times. She later taught my youngest son Tyler at DuPont. I attended her retirement luncheon some years back, and she just called me in May to tell me that her grandson had graduated from the Naval Academy, she knew my oldest son Will had gone there as well.  We had a great talk and caught up with each others' lives.  We should all have the positive influence on young peoples' lives that Eva had.  RIP dear friend, I'll never forget you.

We were neighbors of your mom and dad at the condo on Trafalgar Square. They were both the best neighbors a person could have. Your mom was always so helpful and fun to talk too. We would have friendly talks about the Tennessee Florida games (We are avid Gator fans). She loved her family and grandchildren so much. She would beam talking about them. After we moved, Mark would take Erica to see your mom once a year and get caught up on the family. Unfortunately, he didn't get to see her the past few years. We are sorry for your loss, she was a wonderful person and we will never forget her. Mark, Krista, Erica and Michelle London

Eva was always the person you know would be so happy to greet everyone with a warm smile.  I saw her many times at my parents restaurant picking up sandwiches on Saturday afternoons. Eva was an exceptional person, with a warm and jovial spirit. She sincerely cared about people. Whenever she and I talked, the primary focus of conversation was family, both hers and mine. I am sure you know that family was important to her and her grands were her world. No grandmother was ever more proud. Eva will be dearly missed by family and her many friends.

To the family of Mrs. Eva White . She was my gym teacher at Englewood High '61. She always made "gym with the white uniforms and tennis shoes" fun. Her smile and laughter was special and I will always remember her. It was really good to get to see her a few times lately at our reunions. So glad she could make it and so sorry for her  illness and  the loss you all will surely feel. I pray our Lord will give you peace and comfort.

Englewood High  '58-'61

I was one of those many students at Englewood High School that was inspired by Mrs. White to always "play your best game".  She "walked the walk" and encouraged each of us to be all that we could be.  She taught us to play by the rules of the game and to be true to ourselves.  I always looked forward to gym class and to cheerleading practice.  Mrs. White was a great teacher, a lot of fun and an inspiration to us all.  Above all, she was dedicated and always fair to her students.  She will be sadly missed by many. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

Eva was a dear friend to my Mom,Vivian.  They had so much fun together.  I remember them laughing about going to the mall and having Chic Filet kids meals with ice cream! May this dear soul rest in peace.

Ginger and family, Most of my best memories from middle school are from the times I spent with Eva. She gave me the courage to play on the basketball team. She was always like a ray of sunshine who brightened so many lives. She leaves a great legacy in the beautiful family she created. I know you will all miss her terribly. Ginger, please accept my sympathy in the loss of your mother.  I lost my mother a few years ago and remember how I felt. Your mother was a special lady.  I remember her giving me advice on teen issues, the heart break of my parents divorce.  In junior high school, she had alot of influence on me.  I will always be grateful for that.
