She had a 30 year elementary school teaching career at Thomas Jefferson and Loretto Elementary schools in Jacksonville where she helped shape and mold so many young minds as she encouraged them forward in life.
She enjoyed fine arts and made this the focal point of her travels, visiting museums, cultural and religious sites around the United States, Europe and Holy Lands in the Middle East.
She wouldn’t hesitate to drop what she was doing to help friends or family in need, but she also enjoyed giving to strangers as well through her volunteer work and philanthropy.
She will be deeply missed by all the many who loved her. A celebration of her life will be held on March 1, 2025 at 1:00 pm in The Legacy Lodge at Oaklawn Chapel and Cemetery in Jacksonville.
