Evgnosia R. White, 76, was born March 15, 1942 in Boston, Ma. She is the oldest child of James and Argyro Radiches. She came to Jacksonville in 1946 and graduated from Andrew Jackson High School in 1959. She graduated from J.U. in 1963. She taught at Wolfson Senior High School and Ft. Caroline until she retired from teaching in 2011. She received the Archangel Michael Award in 2008. She was the only female President of the St. John the Divine Greek Orthodox Church Parish Council. She was President of the Philoptochos and on the Archdiocese Board of Atlanta. She was married to David E. White for 54 years. She and David were married in 1964. She is survived by her husband, David, her two children, Christopher and Maria, and her grandchildren, Brittany, Kierstin, and Brayton, as well as her brother, Arthur, and her niece, Lisa. She was predeceased by her brother John in 2009. Visitation and Trisagion will be held on Monday, January 7, 2019 from 5-6:30pm with prayers beginning 6:30p. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 8, 2019 at 10 a.m. at St. John the Divine Greek Orthodox Church, 3850 Atlantic Blvd., with the Rev. Dr. Nicholas Louh officiating. Interment will follow at Oaklawn Cemetery, 4801 San Jose Blvd.
