ALLEN - Mrs. Flora Maye Allen,83, of Callahan passed away Tuesday, April 10, 2007. Mrs. Allen was a native of Jacksonville and a member of the Chaffee Road Church of Christ and a graduate of Andrew Jackson High School. Survivors include: her husband of 56 years, Walton S. Allen, Jr.; a daughter, Susan Gail (Ronnie) Sutherland; 2 sons, Walton Michael Allen and John Mark (Ruth) Allen; 8 grandchildren: Christy, John, Rebecca, Trad, Brittany, Jacob, Caley, and Saundra; and 5 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Friday, April 13, 2007 at 11:00 AM at Lake Forest Church of Christ, 950 W. Edgewood Ave. with Minister Maynard Booher and Minister Bill Leonard officiating. Interment will follow at Edgewood Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Corey-Kerlin Funeral Home, 1426 Rowe Ave., Thursday(TODAY) from 6:00 until 8:00 PM.
