MARCHANT, Floyd Douglas “Doug” Marchant, 74, passed away Sunday, August 2, 2009. Mr. Marchant retired from JEA and had worked in the construction field prior to his employment with JEA. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Diane Marchant; 2 daughters, Cindy Warren and Pam Garrison; 3 sons: Wayne (Pat), Larry (Becky) and Glenn Marchant; 1 sister, June (Ken) Cooper; 12 wonderful grandchildren: Michelle, Kelly, Amy, Jodie, Brett, Tamara, Lindsay, Meredith, Sherri, Lawren, Caroline and Justin; 15 precious great grandchildren; and many other loving family and friends. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, August 5 in the chapel of COREY-KERLIN FUNERAL HOME, 1426 Rowe Ave., with Rev. Doyle Harper and Brother Ken Cooper officiating. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends one (1) hour prior to the service, at the funeral home.
