Frances Eileen Crews

On Sunday, January 15, 2023 Frances Eileen Baker Crews, a loving mother passed away at the age of 89. She was born in Jacksonville, Florida on November 10, 1933 to parents William and Eunice Baker. Frances married the love of her life on February 10, 1955, Leos Crews, 68 years ago. Together they raised three children: two sons; David Crews (Jean) and Bruce Crews, and daughter; Joye Charmayne Buckner (Brian). She is preceded in passing by her husband and two brothers; Harold and Donald. Frances is survived by her children, Grandchildren: Jessica Bassett (Shaun), Heather Addison (Brandon), Leos Crews, Michael Crews and Matthew Crews (Amanda), eight great grandchildren, sister Nelle Joye Fitzgerald, special cousin Betty Jean Maynard and son-in-law Keiichi Buckner. Her late husband Leos’ brothers Tony and Edward, sisters Louise, Marylou, and Margie have always had a special place in her heart. She loved her extended family at the Baptist Towers and will be missed dearly by her family and friends. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date at her daughter’s home where she lived at the end of her life, filled with love.
