Frances Thomas Folds

FOLDS - Mrs. Frances Thomas Folds, born March 12, 1936 in Clearwater, FL, passed into the loving arms of our precious Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on September 3, 2015. A 1953 graduate of Gulf Coast High School in New Port Richey, FL, she later met the love of her life, Robert Lee Folds, on a blind date set up by Robert’s brother, Glen, who was dating Frances’ sister, Grace Thomas. Little did the brothers realize, they would marry sisters and Frances’s marriage to Robert would last 60 wonderful years. They had one daughter, Theresa F. (Alan) Langston; two grandchildren, Kari Langston (Gary) Charles and Justin (Elizabeth) Langston plus five great grandchildren, all residing in Tallahassee, FL. Frances retired from Southern Bell after 25 years of service. Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 12, 2015 at 11:00 AM in the Hobson Auditorium of First Baptist Church, 124 W. Ashley Street. The family will begin receiving friends at 10:00 AM until the hour of the service. Interment will be held at Tallahassee National Cemetery at a later date. The family asks, in lieu of flowers, donations be made in her memory to the Local Chapter of the Alzheimer’s’ Association or First Baptist Church of Jacksonville.
