Frances Lenore Zeiger

Frances Zeiger, beloved mother and cherished friend, passed away peacefully on July 27, 2024, in Jacksonville, Florida, at the age of 89. She was born on November 27, 1934, in Brooklyn, New York, to Joe and Yetta Weiniger.

Frances was a devoted mother and a source of unconditional love and strength for her sons, Gary (Tonya) Zeiger and Eric Zeiger, grandson, Stephano (Stacie) Zeiger, and great-grandchildren, Sophia and Sebastian Zeiger. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Yetta Weiniger, her brother, Julius (Lucille) Weiniger, and her husband Arthur Zeiger.

Frances will be remembered for her spunk, warmth, generosity, and vibrant spirit. She was a force to be reckoned with who touched the lives of many with her humor, kindness, and compassion. Her legacy of love and caring will continue to inspire all who knew her.

A graveside funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 31, 2024, at 10AM in the King David section of Greenlawn Cemetery, 4300 Beach Blvd., Jacksonville, FL.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Community Hospice of Northeast Florida or Mayo Clinic Florida Alzheimer's disease research, in honor of Frances Zeiger's memory.

Frances Zeiger will be deeply missed and forever remembered by her family, friends, and all who were fortunate to have known her.

May her soul rest in eternal peace as she is now, again, with her soulmate Arthur. She was the last of her generation to the party and what a party it is!
