HAYNES, Francis Monroe “Frank” Haynes, Sr., 84, passed away Friday, April 3, 2009. Mr. Haynes was a member of Grace Community Presbyterian Church of Yulee, Florida and was a U.S. Navy veteran of WWII. He was the former owner of Jacksonville Propeller and Machine Shop, where he was known as an honest and fair businessman, living his faith in his business and the community. Survivors include his daughter, Carol; 2 sons, Wade & Frank Jr.; 2 sisters, Sylvia & Virginia; 1 brother, Jimmy; 7 grandchildren: Thomas, Jennifer, Joshua, Loren, Wade Jr., David & Kristen; 5 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Haynes was a loving father, grandfather and great grandfather. Cryptside Funeral Services will be held in the Garden Cloister Chapel of Evergreen Cemetery (Gate #1) at 2:00 PM Monday, April 6, with Rev. John McNicoll officiating. The family will receive friends from 3 to 5 PM Sunday (TODAY) at COREY-KERLIN FUNERAL HOME, 1426 Rowe Ave.
