The St. Louis Archdiocese and particularly the Charismatic community here send our heartfelt sympathy on the passing of Francis. We remember the great path in healing ministry that he forged and will hold the family up in God's warm embrace through these days ahead.

I was blessed to read several of Francis MacNutt’s books and shared them with others. They helped me understand both suffering and healing. May God bless him and his family as they are missing him. Sending prayers and love.

I first saw Dr. Francis thirty years ago from the back of a room filled with five hundred people at Fishnet Vt. Over the years I moved forward until I sat behind and then next to this dear man. He then asked me to talk... On many occasions I would have breakfast with Francis and Tommy Tyson. I learnt so much just listening to these two giants of God, spar with each other and reminisce. What heart filled conversations they were.
Francs was an amazing, kind man that helped me on my journey of healing. Always ready to answer my question on the helaling ministry. On one occasion I had been asked to speak on the healing ministry to a thousand students at a certain collage in Boston. I had been warned that four previous speakers had left the stage in disgust because of the lack of respect from the students. I called Francis in fear and trembling. The outcome, two words from Francis that totally changed my life. “Look at my wife, Judith, when she speaks she smiles, has eye contact, and clearly enjoys what she is talking about. Nigel, I have two words for you, ‘Have Fun’” “But I’m British Francis...” I can tell you those two words totally and categorically changed my life for the good. Because of Francis and the Holy Spirit the Hall was totally silent. I had them in the palm of my hand.
Francis was a “Spiritual Father” with such wisdom, compassion and understanding. Allowing his hands to be the hands of Christ,
I shall really miss him. The world was a much better place with this Saintly man in it.
Rest In Peace dear brother., dear friend, dear father.
Our hearts go out to you Judith, David and Rachael.
With eternal love

It was my honour to know and serve with Francis over the past years as a member of the North American Renewal Service Committee and the CCC team. Thank you Francis and Judith for your leadership in healing and strategy for discipleship.

I pray that the legacy of the books, the love, and the ministry will endure for many decades to come. We have all been blessed and are going to miss the wisdom and love we saw in our brother Francis. He called me on to more in Christ.

May God comfort his family and send the peace only our Lord can give. In Jesus' Name.

Forty-five years ago, I read one of Francis MacNutt's books, when I was studying Psychology in Brazil. It was an enormous inspiration because it gave me hope that one day I would really be able to treat the emotional aspects of people's lives and yet be faithful to the power of the Holy Spirit.

I'm writing because I feel a huge debt of gratitude. I'm sure he never imagined his impact for the Kingdom. I have a friend who says our books are little missionaries that go where we cannot go. For sure Brother Francis came to Brazil to visit me, to inspire me, to encourage me, to bless me so that I could bless others. I look forward to the day when I will be able to thank him personally in Heaven.

And to his family, I pray God's holy comfort into your lives. Be consoled. He blessed many, even me. Amen.

While I only have one personal memory of hearing Francis, my mother, Norma Hinsch loved hearing Francis and reading anything he wrote. (She loved hearing Judith, also.)
Rest eternal Francis in the loving arms of a loving and healing Savior.

Dear Judy,
In 2008, my pastor asked me to form a healing prayer ministry in our church of St. Therese of Carmel in San Diego, CA. I had no clue as to how to start one until I attended several of yours and Francis talks at the SCRC conferences. Also two of my friends who attended your lessons in Florida suggested we look into your DVD teachings.
Holy Spirit has guided us to use your four levels of training approved by our pastor that we completed in 3 years. Now, by the grace of God our ministry is going strong, we have been offering healing masses 3 times a year, new members use the same DVD of the four levels for their formation.
For yours and Francis' guidance through those lessons, we are forever grateful.
With sincere thanksgiving, Teresita Rodriguez in behalf of the healing prayer ministry of St. Therese of Carmel of San Diego

Francis is my hero. The Lord used him mightily in my life from 2010-2014
When I took the CHM Healing school. I will be forever changed because of his and Judith’s and CHM team’s influence. I was able to get prayer from him and honestly was beyond touched by him and Judith. Sending prayers and love to Judith and family and also the CHM ministry team. I know he will be missed. Francis’ legacy will live on to bless many!

Francis changed our lives. In 2001 at Fishnet he brought his breakfast to our table & he challenged us to start a School of Healing Prayer in Toronto which changed our lives & the lives of many many others over the 12 years that we ran the School. The ripple effect continues. Thank you, our beloved Francis & thank you Judith for sharing your wonderful husband with us.

Dear Judith, love the tears of joy at your years together, the trials and the blessings of love and service. My wife and I had our lives changed by the love and mentoring given you two by God and shared because of your immense kindness and love for us all. When I got the gift of healing, Christ showed me the world as he saw it from the cross, the pain of mankind overwhelming the pain of the body and abuse to the soul. He prayed for compassion for all of us even as a man. I consider you and Francis in the same light, seeing the pain of the world is but a prayer away from God's mercy, it still requires choice to serve and bear the Cross. Thank you for your choice, you can never guess the amount of love we have for you and Francis and the surety that God has received him home, with "Well done my true and faithful servant."
