CONNELL, Frank David Connell, Sr., 59, passed away Friday, February 6, 2009. A native and life long resident of Jacksonville, Mr. Connell was a U.S. Navy Veteran of Vietnam. He was a member of NOFARS ham radio club and the LDMA gold prospecting club. Survivors include his wife of 37 years, Cathy Connell; two sons, David Eldridge Connell, II and Frank David Connell, Jr.; one granddaughter, Kacey Lyanne Connell; and other loving family and dear friends. The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 4:00 pm Saturday, February 14, at Corey-Kerlin Funeral Home, 1426 Rowe Avenue. Cremation will follow, with a memorial service to be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to a charity of your choice.
