Franklin Delano Scott

Franklin Delano Scott, age 84, of Callahan, FL, passed away peacefully on May 10, 2018. He was born June 6, 1933 in Atco, GA. He was predeceased by his parents, Arthur Jerome Scott, Sr. and Fannie Pence Scott; his wife, Joyce J. Scott; his sister, Rebecca and his brothers, Arthur Jerome, Jr., Bob, Turner, Walter and Wayne. He is survived by His daughter, Sharon (Wes) Gainey, AL; three sons, Matt Scott, AL; Alan (Laurie) Scott, FL and Frank (Connie) Scott, AL; one brother, George Scott of Georgia; as well as a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A native of Georgia, he spent the early part of his adult life travelling the world, proudly serving with the Unites States Navy, then contracted with the Navy. He then travelled the U.S. as a long-haul driver, finally retiring in Callahan, FL. Graveside Memorial Services will be held on Sunday, May 27 at 3:00 pm, with Military Honors, at Green Pine Cemetery, Yulee, FL.
