Gary Wayne Grove

Gary had a successful career as Vice President of Benefits at Marriott Corp. He was known for his dedication and hard work.

He is survived by his loving daughters, Donna Hall and Sharla Lawrence, his brother Ronald N. Grove, and his grandchildren, Stephanie Marut, Lee Hall, Grace Lawrence, and Jeffrey Lawrence. Gary was a cherished great-grandfather to Emily Marut and Tyler Marut. He is also survived by his stepchildren, Kathy Bond and Robert Bond, with whom he had a deep friendship.

Gary was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Anne Marie Grove. They shared their love of travel and nature through many adventures.

Gary attended Thomas Jefferson High School in Richmond, Virginia and later pursued higher education at the University of Richmond.

He loved reading different versions of the Bible and listening to his favorite pastors on TV.

A graveside service will be held at Oaklawn Cemetery at 1 PM on November 11, 2023. The arrangements are being handled by Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home in Jacksonville, FL.
