Gary W. Myers

Gary W. Myers, 65, passed away on November 21, 2013. He was born in Jacksonville, FL to Charles Raymond and Doris Thomas Myers. Gary was a veteran of the US Air Force and retired from the US Postal Service in 2002 after nearly 30 years of service. Gary was an avid sports fan and a die-hard Florida Gator fan. He was known for his love of life and particularly the love he showed his family. Preceded in death by his mother, Doris, he is survived by his father, Charles; son, David Myers (Emily); daughter, Kelly Myers; sister, Sandi Evans (Steve); and grandchildren, Kayla and Jacobs Myers. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 26th in Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home of Mandarin. The Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 27th in Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home of Mandarin, followed by entombment in Riverside Memorial Park, 7242 Normandy Blvd. Jacksonville, FL 32205.
