George Curtis Blake, Jr., born October 12, 1935, in Jacksonville, FL, went home to be with the Lord on April 25, 2017. He attended Landon High School class of 1954 and then served in the Florida National Guard. George retired from the City of Jacksonville as a computer systems programmer in 1992. He is survived by sons Brian (Brenda) and Thomas (Phyllis); daughter Cheryl Jones (Jim) and their mother, Deanna. He had 5 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Graveside burial service will be held Saturday, May 13, 2017 at 10:00 am at Greenlawn Cemetery, 4300 Beach Blvd. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Community Hospice, 5450 Ramona Blvd., Jacksonville.
